Transport businesses and machine entrepreneurs
Even if our general applications for order handling, work orders and invoicing will fit most transporters well and improve production and efficiency significantly, we'd like to go further. But like so many of the customers in this business, we want to go the last mile, so we have added a few features and modules specifically for the real "last mile providers" that we know are important to increase the value of our solutions a lot.
Many transpoirters receive driving lists from regular customers with their daily, weekly or monthly orders - and use a lot of time planning, assigning and creating invoiceable orders.
We have made some really flexible import tools that takes care of most of this, saving hours of work every week.
The same functionality also takes care of orders created on customer web pages og even advanced PEPPOL order management.

Pland and assign
Plan and assign orders and tasks to the cars and drivers easily and very visibly in our Transport Planner - in two simple steps:
1. Drag the tasks to the truck (or other machines) calendar where you can see your other cars
2. When the puzzle looks good, assign the tasks to the cars and drivers
When new orders arrive, simply click in the calendar for the vehicle most suited for the job (closest, free capacity, available driving time etc.) and create the order directly and assign on the fly.
Register status on each task - like loading, driving, unloading, craning etc) and update the customer order and in the same operation register salary time for the drivers.
Our truck (or car) tablet interface is a good tool if you want to fix a workspace in the truck.
Functionality for customer sign off, HES reporting and checklists, taking pictures (or videos) is easily acccessible either as built ins or inexpensive add-ons.
Some say time is money
We think this may be true
Monitor your fleet, car type or a specific truck in a single map view. We have plug-ins for Volvo, Scania and more and independent satnav providers like ABAX enabling you to monitor all of your cars in the same map. Using Google maps, we secure the availability and constantly updated map functions - and "future proof" our systems.
Usin our geofence functionalities opens a whole world of opportunities and easily available features that will improve the customer service significantly, like:
-
Automatic notifications when the truck is XX kilometres from the delivery address and when it leaves ("delivery done")
-
Automatic counting of number of trips (dumpers)
-
Notifications to passengers (for buses and person transport) about arrival, where the bus is located with link to Google Maps

Many transport companies cooperate with trusted partners in the same business. In many cases it's way more profitable - not to mention eco friendly - to assign an order to a colleague who is nearby, has the capacity or simply the right equipment for the job.
So we have made it really easy to share orders with trusted colleagues - and we have even made it possible to share the GPS location of partner trucks/cars to make it easier to find the opportunities.

In addition to our ordinary reports and report tools (which are excellent, by the way) we have added a few (and more to come) reports specifically for the transport businesses.
Like the KPI reports (Key Performance Indicators) simply indicating revenue per mile and hour per car, driver, car type, order type and customer.
And the GHG (Greenhouse Gas) reports that will help you pass the eye of the needle for many big jobs for public and private companies that deman such reporting. We fetch the relevant data for each trip/order and when needed simply include a GHG report in the invoice.
